For users with a valid pcmet subscription by the German Met Office DWD (Deutscher Wetterdienst), additional commands are available. You have to pass your pcmet credentials to the bot once where they are stored securely under your user account and used for all data retrieval on the DWD site.

Return the current General Aviation Forecast chart for Germany.

Return the current German language textual forecast for North Germany.

DWD GAFORMITTE

Return the current German language textual forecast for Middle Germany.

DWD GAFORSUED

Return the current German language textual forecast for South Germany.

DWD GAFORSWISS

Return the current graphical GAFOR for Switzerland.

DWD GAFORAUSTRIA

Return the current graphical GAFOR for Austria.

DWD GAMETSWISS

Return the current GAMET forecast for Switzerland.

DWD ALPSFOR

Return the current Austrian Alps forecast chart.

DWD SWISSREPORT

Return a German language textual forecast for Switzerland. Similar to the German GAFOR textual reports.

DWD AUSTRIAREPORT

Return a German language textual forecast for Austria. Similar to the German GAFOR textual reports.

DWD ADVICE

Return the requested DWD icing forecast chart. When issued as is, the current Europe composite chart will be requested. Additional options are available to specify the type of chart.

You can influence four parameters:

chart type (icing forecast is default, icing scenario optional)
area (Europe is default, Germany, the North, South and Middle of Germany optional)
altitude (composite, i.e. all altitudes mixed is default, different levels are available)
time (current time is default, with STEP the available times can be displayed and then chosen)

DWD SURFACE

Return the requested surface weather chart. This is not a surface but a current weather chart.

There four types of charts available:

Visibility figures (default)
Cloud ceiling information
Significant weather and rain radar
Mean winds and gusts

In addition, there are five different geographic regions available:

DWD FORECAST

DWD FORECAST HELP

The standard chart shows cloud distribution and an alternative chart temperatures instead. Apart from the default surface level, forecasts are available for FL050, FL100 and FL180 respectively. The available forecast times are identified by a step counter for which there is an overview function.

DWD CROSS

Access a cross section forecast along a pre-defined flight route. DWD renders vertical route forecasts using their high resolution model for a few European routes. Each route connects a series of airports identified by their ICAO ID.

The list of available routes can be displayed with the MAP option.

Sections are either identified through an ICAO airport ID they include or in case there are multiple routes passing by an airport, the airport ICAO ID followed by a number. In case you specify an airport and there are multiple routes, a list with the number is displayed.
